The Embassy of Ireland in New Delhi operates an out-of-hours service for Irish citizens requiring emergency assistance.  If you are an Irish citizen in need of emergency assistance, please dial the Embassy switchboard (+91 11 2462 6733). 

If you telephone during Embassy opening hours, one of our consular staff will deal with your call.  If you telephone at the weekend or while the Embassy is closed, you should leave a message giving your name, the nature of the problem, where you are now, and the details of how you can be contacted.

The service is regularly monitored and you will be contacted at the earliest opportunity on the number which you provide.
